Question:

If x > 14, what is the median of the set consisting of the following numbers: x, 10, 12, 14, 7, 15, 19?
A. 12
B. 10
C. 14
D. 15
E. 19

Arranging terms in an ascending order we have the observations as 7, 10, 12, 14, 15, 19

x > 14. So, it will appear to the right of 14. The median of 7 terms is the 4th term which is 14.
